I went to the doctor Thursday and she said I am measuring a week a head! I dunno if that's a good thing or not. So other than that everything was the same and I go back in two weeks. In two weeks she'll check me and see if I am starting to dilate or anything yet. And she'll be able to see what position the baby is in. Then I will go every week till he decides to come! And speaking of 'he' I think his name will be Malakai....Ryan really likes that name and I love the Kai part! :) Yeah. I think we have a name for our little guy. Finally! Only 39 days to go...till my due date. If he come two weeks early like Makenna did then only 25 more days! CRAZY! It makes me want to get everything ready even more. :)

Also, this past month my sweet family (in law) had a surprise baby shower for me. It was lots of fun and I got a lot of things I needed for baby! I didn't get any pictures but it was very fun and nice of you girls to do that for me. So thank you Debbie, Carlie, Cammie and Shandi!!

Makenna got her shaggy hair cut and it looks so adorable on her. I'm glad I decided to just do it. I thought oh I don't want to cut her long hair. But it was so shaggy and hot. So I'm glad we did it. It's so cute on her!

We of course did the cruise in this year as always. We did the poker run over to Bear Lake too. We usually don't play the game along the way but we did this year and it was way fun. It was nice to stop a few times on the way for Makenna to get out and walk around. She didn't get bored so easy. But she usually doesn't when we go in the Mustang. She LOVES that thing. It's so funny because I can totally see her Daddy in her when it comes to toys!

I'm not even going to try to get these pictures in order...I think if I were to put the pictures on first then type the words around the pictures that may work better...next time I guess!

34 weeks!

I'm 34 weeks along today...and so ready to be done being pregnant! I almost feel bad saying that because compared to my pregnancy with Makenna this one has been a breeze, well till lately! I'm just so exhausted and tired and worn out. My legs hurt to stand and when I do I am out of breath. Or maybe it's just showing how out of shape I am and was even before being pregnant. My feet are pretty much always huge and swollen and so is my right hand. Weird. And I am pretty sure this baby is head down. I constantly feel like I am about to pee my pants and I have a lot of pressure in my pelvis. I hope that means he is getting ready to come. Anyway, I'll stop complaining. I go to the doctor tomorrow for a check up. I'm sure it will all be the same except I'm sure they'll tell me I have gained more weight! I am so ready and excited to meet my little guy. I know life will just get more hectic for a while once he arrives and we get into a routine but I am so ready. I just want to see his cute lil face, hold and snuggle him. Lots. :)

30 weeks! (68 days left)

I can't believe I am 30 weeks along in this pregnancy already! I am really starting to get uncomfortable. Like in bed at night, trying to change positions is hard. And just everyday things in general are harder. But who said it was easy right?! I am just so excited to meet our little guy. I can't stand it. I think I tell Ryan everyday that I just want to see his face. Soon enough he will be here. I pretty much have his room and everything ready for him. I have washed 3 loads of clothes/blanket/bedding and miscellaneous things. He has quite a bit of newborn size clothes already but that's about it. I even have a few newborn size packages of diapers! Go me! I know they won't last long and he is going to grow very quickly out of the newborn size clothes. Good reason to go shopping after he gets here and I can see how 'big' he is going to be I guess!!! :) Last weekend my friend had a yard sale and she had lots of baby boy clothes for sale, some of which still had tags on them. So I bought a few things from her.

As far as a name goes...we don't have one decided on yet. We have 9 more weeks to decide. I'm hoping not. I hope he comes in 7 weeks, on the 28th of July! Haha. Makenna was 2 weeks early and this would put this little guy 3 weeks early. So it could happen! Ryan really likes the name Race. I really like the name Makai, Kai for short. I think it goes cute with Makenna! There are so many different ways of spelling it to such as: Khi, Kye,Mekai, Makhi, Mckai and so on. I think I would stick with Makai. But I'm not sure if it sounds girly? A girl I work with says it does. So anyway you should all tell me your opinions! I would love to hear them!!!

3 years AND 27 weeks!

So, Makenna's 3rd birthday was in March but I have been a big slacker and hadn't taken any "good" pictures of her. So last Friday I took some picture of Jordan my cute nephew and it got me motivated to do Makenna's the next day! They turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself! I can't wait to have my little guy to take pictures of too! Only 13 more weeks, but I went to the doctor yesterday and I got the rhogam shot and they are only good for 12 weeks so I asked the nurse what if I go past 12 weeks and she said that they would probably induce me before it expires! So that was kinda cool. But my doctor has told me several times she doesn't think I will make it to 40 weeks because I labored on my own at 38 weeks with Makenna. I hope she's right because I have a feeling once August gets here I am going to be very miserable. It's already difficult to move around and my feet get huge and swollen. And I have been getting lovely heartburn.. But I'll take it over being nauseated. Yesterday, at work two old ladies asked me if I was having twins. I wanted to flip them the bird but I said nope, no way. So I asked my doctor if I looked huge and she said no and that I am measuring exactly where I should be. Oh and I have seen other 27 weekers and they look similar in size. So anyway I am getting very excited to meet my little guy! We still do not have a name narrowed down. Ryan likes Race, and I like Kai or Mckai. So we'll see I guess!!!

many times to be able to look in and see my baby while pregnant. I can watch my belly moving because he is moving and I love to just watch it and I always wish I could see in a watch him move. Ah...it would be so neat.

So my ultrasound was Thursday (the 24th) and everything looked great! So glad I can relax now. We are just so excited to be having a boy. I can't wait to see Ryan and Makenna with him. I am so overwhelmed with joy I can't even describe it. I'm just so in love and happy in life right now.

Yesterday was Makenna's 3rd birthday. I can't believe she is already 3. We had a fun little party with our families! Makenna got a big girl bike from Mom and Dad. She got lots of new clothes, books, toys, bubble bath, movies, the princess and the frog movie, doll and dress to match. And LOTS and LOTS of lip gloss! My dad and Melissa also brought her some fun toys from Mexico!!

We also get to find out on Thursday what our little baby is? I am so excited but I also have a lot of anxiety the last couple of days just because I know that this is most likely when we will find out if something is wrong developmentally, if there is anything wrong. I really hope not. I just keep worrying but I'm sure nothing will be wrong and I'll stop worrying after Thursday. :)

Last week once all of our house was put back together, I got Makenna's room done. We got her big girl bed set up with all the cute bedding. She got a new matching rug and lamp. I got some fun things for the wall above her bed but haven't put them up yet. Yesterday we moved the crib down to the baby's room. So that makes her room seem a lot bigger. And since all the toys are moved downstairs too it stays much cleaner. I love it! Then once I got the crib into the baby's room I kept going and put the changing table back together and moved all the baby stuff into "it's" room!! So now it's ready for a baby. I felt like I was "nesting" yesterday. But I got SO much done. It feels great. And since I got all the baby stuff out of the computer/spare bedroom it's way less crowded in there too! Now I just need to know if I'm having a boy or girl so I can finish, well mostly decorate it's room! So excited!! Only 39 more days till we get to find out. I say next month because it makes it seem sooner! :)

January has come and gone! Already. Crazy how time flies to me. So we have had so much fun this past month. To start my sister Trista and her husband who have been living in Turkey came home for a surprise visit!! I was so shocked to see them. I had to look twice to make sure it was them I was seeing! So we hung out and had lots of fun together. I wish they were coming back for good. I miss having them here.

We have been working on getting our basement finished for a few months now. Well since October and it's FINALLY done. We have been wanting to do it for longer and it always got forgotten about. I'm so glad it is done and out of the way. It feels so much less cluttered to have the extra space. Especially for all the toys! And I had to sweet talk my loving husband into painting upstairs and getting new carpet upstairs too. It wasn't very difficult though. He pretty much lets me have/do whatever I want. He is so good to me and Makenna. He works so hard and I just love how much he adores Makenna and loves taking care of her. I couldn't ask for a better husband or dad!

Makenna got her second haircut ever last week. I've decided she needs to have it cut or at least trimmed trimmed more often. So she won't be scared to have it done. She wasn't to sure about it this time. But Jamie got out her container of suckers and everything was happy again! :)

Oh and last but not least in January we had

our first doctor's appointment. Yep, we're having another baby!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I have felt so good this time being pregnant. It's great. If it could be like this every time I'd probably have more. But since there are no guarantees....we'll see. So anyway, I'm 12 weeks along and everything looked great on the ultrasound. So Makenna will have a new sister or brother in August.We tell her she is going to have a baby brother and sister and for the most part I think she is picturing a baby doll. She has so many and that is what she knows a baby is. Ryan is excited too. At first he was more excited that me. He's hoping for a boy, of course! Either way, pink or blue doesn't matter to me. I just wish it were possible to find out the gender sooner. I can't wait to have a tiny newborn again. Don't get me wrong I'm not excited for the 2am feedings etc. but I love when babies are so new and tiny and smell good and they're skin is flaky and they have little white bumps on there skin around their nose and how tiny everything is like diapers, clothes, bottles, and even their little baby poops. And the sound of a newborn cry. Just how different it sounds. So with all that blabbering I am pretty excited to say the least.

Aunt Trista is the best! Who else will let you eat jelly with a butter knife at a restaurant.

So I tried to add a few more pictures and they order got all messed up and I can't figure out how to move them! So ta da! :)

Christmas already...

I can't believe this year is practically over. And that we only have 12 days till Christmas. Wow! Where has the time gone? I am so excited for Christmas this year. I think this will be the year that Makenna really figures out a little more about what Christmas is. I don't think she even remembers last Christmas. I keep telling her Santa is watching her when she is naughty. But she doesn't get it. When I was in the mall last week she was terrified of Santa. She wouldn't let me put her down. She didn't want me to get too close. So no cute pictures of Makenna and Santa this year. See the last two years when she didn't know what was going on that it was Santa who was holding her. Not so much this year. So maybe next year when I tell her Santa is watching her she'll remember. I hope! Here is our Christmas cards, I couldn't decide on one so I did two! Merry Christmas!

Happy Halloween

This year Makenna was Minnie Mouse for Halloween! She was so cute, of course. We went to a Halloween party on Friday night and so she got to wear her costume and had lots of fun playing with Kendra and "carving" pumpkins. Then on Saturday evening we went to my moms (where Makenna got most of her candy) and went to a few houses in her neighborhood. The first house we went to she wasn't too sure about what we were doing then by the third house she totally understood. She rang the doorbell probably six times before I realized and we the lady came to the door she tried grabbing a handful of candy. We would have went to a few more houses but he dang rain started to pour so we went back to Grandma's house! Went to go visit Grandpa and Grandma Jamison for a while. It was still raining so we were done trick or treating. Sunday we went to my dad's house in Preston for dinner and Makenna wore her costume again. We tried to get some pictures with her and Keaton but she wanted nothing to do with pictures. I think she is really going to start to like dress up clothes. But that's ok with me. That means she's still a girly girl. But if you ask Ryan she's not because she knows how to operate a rachet wrench thing...whatever it's called.

On Labor day we went to the dinosaur park in Ogden. It was lots of fun! When we first got there Makenna was a little nervous and didn't want to get out of the stroller. But once she knew the dinosaurs didn't move she was good!

6th anniversary

Ryan and I just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary! The last six years have been the best years of my life. I love Ryan so much. He is my best friend. We have had so much fun together. (and sometimes not so much fun). He is the BEST dad to Makenna ever. She loves and adores him so much. I am one lucky girl to have such a great husband and dad to my kid(s). :) My mom is always telling me what a cute daddy he is. I agree!

So a few weeks ago we took the kids, Makenna, Kendra and Kamry to the new little splash pad in Providence. Makenna had just woke up from her long nap and wasn't too sure about it and liked playing on the playground better. Kendra seemed to love it. And Kamry was happy playing with the doll on the grass! We will have to try it out again and see if Makenna likes it any better.

This morning I was getting ready for the day and I noticed Makenna was being really quiet. Well her mouth wasn't going...but there was noise. It was coming from the kitchen. I could heard all this banging and crashing of dishes. I went to see what she was doing and she had her potty out of the bathroom and was standing on it on her tip toes to do the dishes. Silly girl. Day 3 after LASIK

So I am completely amazed at the results of this procedure. On our way home from SLC I was reading license plates of cars in front of us...which there would have been no way I could have done that without my glasses before the procedure. It's awesome. I do have a little blurriness in my left eye and my right eye is perfect. I see as good as I did before with my glasses with my right eye. So I am hoping that it will take time for my left to be as good. My doctor called the day after to check on me and she said everything is normal and it can take a couple weeks for the cornea to heal and settle. It is weird being able to see. I keep thinking I need to put my glasses on then I stop and realize I can see! I still have to focus on some things sometimes. But for the most part I can see pretty well with both eyes open! I have a follow up appointment on Friday so hopefully everything will be healing. Which I am sure it is!

LASIK!!! Here I come.

So in one week from today I am having LASIK on my eyes! I am so excited and nervous at the same time. But far more excited. I am having it done at The Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake. I feel really confident that I am choosing an excellent place. Plus I can't beat the great deal I am getting. So in one week plus maybe a few days I hope to be able to see as well as I do with my glasses but without them. :) And I will be one happier girl than I am now! Wish me luck. They told me it only takes 10 seconds for the laser to do it's thing per eye, so how bad can it be right?! I'll let you know!

So on Friday when Ryan and I were on our way back from Salt Lake City for my eye apt. we stopped at the Layton Hills Mall to return a couple things for Danny and there was this cute cute little stand. They had tonz of cute fun things for baby's and little kids. Even cute stuff for boys! I got Makenna a pair of squeaky shoes and she LOVES them. She doesn't want me to take them off even at nap time. I think I will have to get her a pair of the sandals too! Just thought I would share. It is super cute.

So Makenna has been 2 years old for 2 months now and I'm just now getting to post about it. About a month ago I had some pictures done at Wal-Mart because one of my friends had some pictures done there and she showed them to me and they turned out sooo cute. So I thought what the heck I'll give them a try too. Well they turned out pretty cute but Makenna was not interested in cooperating at all so we got what we got. Shandi brought Jordan and we got one of them together. He was only 3 days old. And he was so good and didn't even care that we were moving him all around. They will be good friends when he is a little older. I am so excited for Makenna to have a cousin.

Gardener Village!

On Saturday Danny, Makenna and I went to Salt Lake City to go to Gardner's Village. It was the cutest place ever. They were having their 30th birthday celebration. It's a little village with lots of little shops. It was really cute. Danny of course spoiled Makenna. She got a new baby and an iron. We also went to Tai Pan Trading. It was fun but I didn't find anything I couldn't live without. :) We went and had lunch at my favorite Chinese place in SLC, Chinese Gourmet! It was very yummy. Then we went to Big Lots and to the Layton Hills mall. We didn't get home till 9:30pm and Makenna was very ready for bed. She did very well for only getting a 30 minute nap in the car. It was a fun day and we all had fun. I hope we can do it again soon.

I just thought I would mention what is new in our lives at this point in them.! Well not a lot has changed. Makenna is still just as energetic and growing as ever. She almost has all of her baby teeth. One last one is right there at the gum line trying to come in. Thank goodness. I am so glad that will be done for a while.

Ryan has finished all the painting on the shed and it is DONE!!! Woohoo. We well Ryan & my dad started building it last summer/fall-ish and now it is completely done. It is so nice to have everything out of the garage and have a place to put it and keep it out of the weather. Other than that he has just been working and do little projects here and there.

And for me not a lot has changed at all really. EXCEPT... I am an AUNT now!! And Ryan is an Uncle and Makenna has a cousin. A first for all of us. Very excite!! Shandi (Ryan's sister) had her cute lil baby boy Jordan on last Wednesday at 11:39pm. He weighed 8 lbs 12oz. and he sure is the cutest little thing ever. I LOVE his cry. It is so cute. I have never heard a baby cry so cute before.
Oh and I have been only working part time for now. Not by choice but at least I am able to still get some hours. Which I am thankful for. It's nice to be able to be with Makenna more in the day, get errands done and the house cleaned up more often. :)

Easter

We had such a fun Easter with Makenna this year! She woke up and was in her crib and could see her Easter basket in the living room and kept yelling "mom" so I went in to get her and she pointed to her basket and would pat her chest and say "my my". So I told her it was hers and she said "haa" (that means yeah). She sure know that she is the spoiled little princess that she is and that everything is hers! She loved finding all the eggs that were hidden around the house. Once she found one she was satisfied and didn't want to keep looking for more. But eventually she got them all. (All 29 of them). We went Grandma and Grandpa Jamison's for dinner and it was very yummy. My favorite, ham and potatoes. Kenna and Jaden had a hunt for candy outside. We visited for a while and went home. My mom and grandma came over to give Makenna a Easter treat. She got come new p.j.'s and big girl underwear, that she had to try on right away, a beach towel and a little wagon full of sand toys and little farm animal eggs with candy in them. And a bubble blower that Makenna tried to use as a blow dryer and got her hair stuck a few times...but it was only a little, not too bad! She had a blast and was very tired by 7:30pm came so she went to bed early and so did mom and dad!!

So Makenna went for her 2 year check up on Friday. It was wonderful because she didn't have to get any shots! She is 35 inches tall 90-95% and is 30 lbs. 85%. So she is growing. She is such a funny little girl.

We had her birthday part last Saturday and she had so much fun playing and seeing all her family come over. So here are lots of pictures to describe her day!

2 Years Old!

Wow! I can't believe Makenna is 2 years old. I seriously cannot. It has gone by so FAST, it seems like she was just born. Well maybe not just born but that is all I have thought about since 10:30 pm last night. How we would just be getting to the hospital and they would be checking me to see if I was really in labor and if they would keep me. It was the real deal much to my surprise. I thought for sure they would send me home and it'd be a false alarm. It was two weeks early and I didn't even have my bag packed to take to the hospital. Then it was mid night and I got my epidural. The best feeling ever after all that pain of the contractions. And by 3:00 am I was complete. Then 5:00 am I started pushing and at 7:06 am baby Makenna was here and we were so happy. It was one of the best moments in my life to see her. We l0ve her so much and don't know what we would do without her. Happy birthday Makenna, we love you. Love Mommy and Daddy!

But...I found a new charger on ebay for only $7.50 and no shipping charge! WooHoo! I love to find great deals!

First Hair Cut

Well Makenna got her first hair cut! Or should I say trim? It was a very small amount to come off the length. It just helped it look a little better and trim the ends up. She thought it was pretty neat to sit in the big chair and wear the apron. She did really good. She just sat there at first then she got a little curious and tried to look at Jamie's hands while she was cutting to try and figure out what she was doing. But Kenna was a good girl. We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We sure did. We had so much fun with Makenna this year at Christmas since she is a little older and can participate a little more. We took her to see santa at the mall. And she really didn't care much she wasn't impressed or scared or anything really. She just sat there on his lap, when he would talk to her she just listened, not even responding to him. I think she was a little curious. When Santa offered her a candy cane she immediately shook her head yes. It was cute. We went to dinner at Black Pearl for my mom's birthday which is Christmas eve. (Ryan and my Dad had to go ride snowmobiles this morning before the party) We had cake and ice cream later at her house. After the birthday party we went to Ryan's Grandma's house. Santa always comes there and the kids sure love it. Christmas morning I was the first one awake. So was so excited when Makenna woke up. She was so surprised by all the stuff in the living room for her. She got lots of new toys. Ryan got sunglasses and new shoes. I got diamond earings, a new light fixture I had been wanted to go over my kitchen sink and a bed in a bag set I had found that I really liked. Ryan surprised me with it. I didn't think he would remember. Then we went to my grandma Danny's for breakfast with my Mom and Boyd Tristan and Cody too. We ate lots of yummy food and exchanged gifts. My mom and boyd gave Makenna a cute little baby that crawls and a play vacuum that really picks up. I think it is great. :) She got lots a fun things from Grandma Danny too. Another kitchen and baby and too much to list. I got to talk to Trista and Shilo too while we were waiting for everyone to get to Danny's house. It was about 6 in the evening there so they had already had there Christmas morning. Trista had already taken down all of her Christmas decorations. She said she had others she wanted to put up. Silly girl!! But I don't blame her. I took our tree down at about 11pm, I can't handle all the clutter. It was nice to get everything cleaned up and in their places. Anyway...

We went home to get ready to go to my Dad's house in Preston. We went and at lunch with them and exchanges more gifts. Makenna got a bouncy horse. He talks and sings. She loves it. Then we went back to Logan to see Ryan's family and exchange gifts with them. Grandpa and Grandma Jamison gave Makenna a play vacuum too. She plays with it everyday almost I think. She loves to help me clean up. Then we went back to our house and everyone came over to see what Kenna got.

It was a busy day for sure. I really like Christmas day even though it is always go go go. So here are so pictures of our busy Christmas.

Snow Day!

Ryan has been so excited to take Makenna outside to play in the snow. And you can sure tell she is his child. She LOVED it just as much as he did. After Ryan was done clearing the driveway and the sidewalks (on our whole street) and the neighbors driveways he came in asking Makenna if she wanted to come outside to play. So I got her all bundled up. Ryan took her on the snowmobile around the house a few times and then in the teryx. Oh boy was it fun. Then since we didn't have a snow sled Ryan got out the tube that is supposed to be for water and hooked it to the back of the teryx and asked me to come out and pull them around in it. So I did...of course. After about 20 times around and around the house I stopped and asked Makenna if she was cold and wanted to go in the house and all she did was shake her head no and gave me her grouchy face she has been doing lately. So I asked her if she wanted more and she shook her head yes! So away we went around the house some more. She is going to be an adrenaline junky like her dad. I can see it now. :) Here are some cute pictures I got.

We had a four generation picture taken on Friday! It was all Danny's idea and her doing. She got us all cute red outfits to wear and they just turned out so cute. I can't wait for the actual pictures to come in. Maybe one day we will be able to do a five generation picture. But I hope not for a long while. :)

Providence Canyon!

Ryan wanted to go up Providence canyon tonight to see how much snow was up there compared to the valley. So we did! There was quite a bit more than at home. As soon as we got to the dirt road it was snow packed. I figured we would have to drive a ways to get to snow on the road. Makenna just loved it, she was very curious. She can actually see out the windshield and windows in the Bronco because the back seat is so much higher than normal. Here is my cute husband having fun playing in the snow.

So today was pretty much like any other day, until Makenna woke up from her nap. Then I got her all ready in her Halloween costume. She was a ladybug. The cutest ladybug I have ever seen too! I wanted to have a few pictures taken of her in her costume so I had an appointment at JCPenny. Well we waited there for 40 minutes, there was only one lady working and she was new, you could just tell. She had to keep calling someone to ask how to do things. So I eventually said let's just bag it and take a few pictures ourselves. So we did. We went back to Grandma's house and uncle Shilo took some super cute pictures with his new camera. I think they turned out better than that lady at Penny's would have done. After we went to Grandpa and Grandma Jamison's for a few minutes we went and had dinner at Iggy's with Trista, Shilo, Cody, Cora and Jordan. It was fun and yummy. Then we went home, oh and the best part of the whole day (almost) was that when we got home I was in the bathroom going potty when Makenna came in and saw me and thought she had to go too. So I took her diaper off and sat her on her potty and what ya know...she went potty! Maybe it's not a coincidence and I should follow through with training time!

In the BIG GIRL potty!!!! I couldn't believe it. Tonight I was getting Makenna ready for a bath so I undressed her and ask if she had to go potty as I set her on the potty and she sat there for a minute but up in till now the potty has sat there and it's been used to store miscellaneous toys in! :) Or has been a toy for her more or less. Anyway, I put her in the shower with Ryan and when she was all done getting clean Ryan handed her back out to me and she pointed at the potty and wanted to sit down again, so I'm thinking here we go again playing on the potty. But...she sat there for a couple minutes and got up so I put her towel on her and when I caught a glance at pee pee in the potty I was SHOCKED! And very excited. We praised her and clapped and told her what a good job she just did and of course I gave her a treat too. So hopefully the success and progress will continue and it wasn't just a coincidence.

Today Tanner's family had a bridal shower for Cammie. It was really fun. Cammie got lots of cute and useful things. She and Tanner should about have everything they need. (This was her 3rd shower) I can't believe she is getting married in only 20 days. Crazy how time flies. When I met her she was only eleven years old. Now she's all grown up! I'm so excited for her and Tanner. Congratulations you two!

Makenna is actually almost 19 months now! She is growing so fast. On her 18 month check up she was 25lbs. (70%) and 35in. (off the charts!) Her personality has really come out. She is starting to copy things we say. She can say mama, dada, hi, bye, baby, b (for blanket) ball, cheese, please, papa (grandpa) and lots more if I think about it. She loves to give mommy hugs and kisses, which I love and just makes my day! She loves her baby dolls a lot lately. She always loves to be outside and to play with other kids. Even if she isn't always nice, but that's how she learns right?! I am so thankful to have her!

Park City Trip!

Last weekend we went to Park City for the all Ford and mustang show. It was a lot of fun. It rained a lot but it was still fun! Thursday night we went to Miller Motorsports Park to watch the cars on the autocross. It got too windy before it was over so we didn't stay for the whole thing. We went shopping at the outlets while we were in Park City. I got some very cute winter clothes for Makenna. I can't wait till she can wear them. But I can wait for winter. :)

Today Ryan and I have been married five years!!! I can't even believe how fast it has gone. It seems like it was just months ago that we got married. My Family! 4th of July 2009

So this 4th of July was pretty fun! On Thursday we went on the poker run through Logan Canyon over to Bear Lake. Sam came in his mustang and so did Shandi and Justin in their mustang. It was fun. It was Makenna's first time riding in Daddy's mustang. She loved it. We ate dutch oven dinner there and came back! On Friday we had a bbq with our friends Aaron, Julie, Carson and Carter! We did fireworks once it was dark. I know Makenna would have loved it but she was very ready for bed by the time it was dark, so maybe next year she will be able to stay up longer to see them. On Saturday Ryan & Sam took their cars down to the fair grounds at the crack of dawn. We went and looked at the cars while it was cool out in the morning then Makenna and I went home to have lunch and take a nap while it was hot out! She looked so cute and festive! On Sunday we went swimming at Downata! Makenna had a blast and loved the slide. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures, dang it. Oh well there will be more swimming trips!

Well as you know this weekend is Ryan's favorite time of the year! So he and Sam have both been working on their cars....still and again!!! :) They are pretty excited to play this weekend. I am just excited for the stangS to be finished...haha yeah right. Makenna had a really nasty sliver in her foot that I tried to get out but was not successful, although I was nervous and didn't want to hurt her. So she had to go to the doctor today to have it taken out. My awesome mom was tending her today and I wasn't able to leave work to take her so my mom did. Dr. McKenna got it out and everything is better now...for how long I dunno. Thanks mom for always helping me out. I love ya so much! You're the best. Makenna loves to give me hugs lately. It just makes my day. She will just come up out of no where and give me big hugs. She is such a sweet girl. She is growing up too fast. As for me nothing to exciting is happening. I go to work, clean, do laundry, and chase a 1 year old and that's about it. So I will post some new pics soon!

Weekend fun!

We have had a busy and fun weekend! On Friday we went to Ryan's Uncle's wedding. It was at the old rock church. It was a very nice wedding, they had the ceremony outside and the weather was nice. Makenna loved to play outside and collect sicks and rocks. She wore her cute new dress that Danny's sister got her. She looks so cute in it. There was a little bridge that she loved to play on and go across it and come back and do that over and over. After the reception we went to Costa Vida with Ryan's fam. We we got home I was too tired to get things ready to go to Bear Lake so I didn't. Well I did go to my favorite store that is now on my end of town! I bet you can't guess what it is. Jk! So I went to Walmart for a few things we needed to take with us. I also found Makenna a really cool new sippy cup! Oh, and a dress! :) So, Saturday we were woke up before 7 am so we got up and got ready to go. We got to Garden City pretty early, early for us anyway! Our friends were staying at the K.O.A. there and it was a pretty fun little camp spot. There were lots of "activities" for the kids! Makenna found lots of new friends to play with. She really wanted to go swimming in the pool when we got back to camp after being at the lake all day. But it was cold water and pretty dirty from I'm sure 500 kids being in it. I know Bear Lake is probably not the cleanest either BUT...anyway I did let her put her feet in the pool and she thought that was pretty neat. We ate dutch oven chicken and potatoes for dinner and they were very delicious and so was the apple cobbler Julie made. We left pretty late oh about 10:45ish. We had such a fun day (minus the sunburns) Thanks Aaron and Julie for inviting us! We always have so much fun with you guys! On the way home we passed so many deer. I can't believe we made it out of there with out hitting one. I counted every time we passed on or a group of them, there were 8. Well maybe more if I would have counted all of the ones in groups but oh my gosh they were ALL just right on the side of the road every time and they were always on the right side. Weird. And now it is Sunday, I have been doing laundry and cleaning like a crazy girl. I might be! I even clean the outside of my windows! They look so beautiful now. If you want any easy way to clean the outsides buy the new thing Windex has out. It comes with a wash pad that is full of the cleaning agent and poles that you hook together to reach up high. All you do it wet the window with the hose and scrub with the pad and then rinse again. No drying required, I was sceptical at first but I liked it! They dried without any spots! I have a coupon for $3 off that came in the box if anyone wants it! :)

P.S. My camera battery died at the lake so I only got those two pics. :(

So just for fun I entered some cute pictures of Makenna in the Parents magazine cover kid search. I know ALL the pictures of her are cute! But it would only let me put 6 pictures on. We just got this Teryx, and we LOVE it. It is so fun. We really like it because it is something we can all use at once as a family together. We went for a couple rides today up Providence canyon and around town. Ryan's family came over and went for a ride too. I wish I would have got a picture of Makenna with her helmet on and in her carseat in the backseat going for a ride. Oh well, I will eventually.

So I finally just decided to take Makenna to JCPenny, again. Or I would have never decided and I have to say this is the happiest I have ever been with my pictures from them. They turned out so cute. It probably helped that Makenna was in a good mood! She was so silly and happy that day. The timing was perfect because by the time I decided which pictures I wanted and we got out to the car to go home she was pissed off!!! I dunno why, she was just mad. She was tired because she fell asleep on the way home. Anyway, I loved all of the pictures that were taken that day and am so happy they turned out cute. I wanted to buy all of them, and I almost did.

Today was such a fun day! Even though I have been feeling sick the last couple days. I think it may just be allergies. Anyway, this morning Kenna found her Easter basket from the Easter bunny with new kinds of juice and some new bath toys. Then, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Jamison's for Dinner. It was very yummy and Makenna really liked the ham. They gave her a cute little sand pale and shovel with a cute yellow summer outfit and two pink hats to keep the sun out on the sunny days we are hopefully going to keep having!! Oh and the cinnamon graham cracker goldfish was one of the best parts. After dinner we went to Old Main Hill to roll Easter eggs down the hill. It was fun, I have never done it before. There were so many birds waiting to eat the eggs. Then we were off from there to Danny's to have strawberry shortcakes! They were yummy! Makenna got two more Easter baskets filled with fun toys and yummy candy and treats! A new little mirmaid swimsuit and beach towel. And beach toys! A very fun bee book from Grandma too. After awhile we went to the zoo with Danny, my Mom, Cody and Jasmine. Makenna loved to see all the animals, mostly birds. But it was fun. She made the doggy noise at all of the animals. Then we had to go play on the swings and slides for a bit. Of course it was fun too!! Then we came home, had dinner and went to bed. Ahh, bedtime. It's my fav!! Also, my Dad and Melissa came down last night and brought Makenna an Easter basket too. It had a cute little bunny, some hair clips and lots of puffs! Our favorite snack.

Makenna's 1st birthday party!

Makenna turned one one Thurday March 19th and we waited to have her party till Saturday, that way it didn't have to be in the evening when everyone was getting off work and ready to go home. So Saturday turned out to be a really nice day! We had lunch and then Makenna had her cake, she wasn't to sure about what to do. She was pretty casual about it and just took her time digging into it. She sure loved the frosting. Then everyone else ate cake too then Makenna opened her presents! She got so many cute things. She got lots and lots of new clothes! She got a bubble maker and a wagon! She loves it! Ryan and I got her a little power wheels car and she loves that too. She has only got to play with it once, which was on her birthday, due to all the lovely weather we have been having! I hope we get to have spring soon. Anyway, Makenna got a toothbrush and toothpaste, I thought since she has a whole tooth and a half it would be a good idea to get her used to brushing them at a young age. She liked chewing on it when she opened it but now it stays in the bathroom and we brush her teeth while she is in the tub so she won't want to just play with it. She also loves her new polka dot purple chair. I had her name embroidered on it too, she looks so cute sitting in it, I love to watch her!! Makenna got so many fun and cute new things from her family. Thank you everyone for coming and making her day a fun one!

I can't believe my baby will be 1 in one week! It makes me sad to think she isn't a tiny baby anymore, that it has already come and gone. This last year flew by. It went so fast I don't even know where it went. Makenna has been such a sweet baby, she has changed our lives in so many way and we are so thankful to have her. I am also so excited for the milestones to come. As she gets older I look forward to all the fun thing she will do and we can do with her now that she isn't so little. She has such a fun and loving personality. We just love her so much!!!

I started Makenna in swimming lessons at the sports academy. We have had two classes so far and it has been so much fun. Makenna really loves the water. She doesn't quite know how to kick and 'swim' but she is getting used to being in the water and getting her face wet. I love it because it is fun to get 40 minutes twice a week just playing in the water with her. I think this will help her to like the water before she really knows and is affraid of it, hopefully!

Today was such a nice day in Logan, well for us it was. It was almost 50 degrees and sunny at the end of the day. I got home from work a little early so Makenna, Chopper and I went for a little walk, it was so nice. Even though it wasn't way nice and warm it was fun to go outside for a little bit. Makenna had her jacket, gloves and blanket on. But after about 15-20 minutes our noses were cold and Chopper was shivering so we went back inside!

I know I have already posted today, but this was so cute I had to post it anyway. Makenna's first painted toe nails! When I was giving her a bath tonight I got the idea to paint her little toes. It worked out better than I thought doing it in the bath. She couldn't move as much on me. We did get some on more than just her nails but I managed to get it off her skin with a q-tip. Of course they are pink too. :)

So about a month ago I entered Makenna's picture in the Babies of 2008, that the Herald Journal does every year. It seemed like forever that I have been waiting for the paper to come out today. I was so excited just to see her picture in the newspaper. The first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning was that I wanted to go buy a newspaper. So I did, I went down to the Cheveron by my house and bought one. When I got back in the car I opened the paper to the babies section and saw Makenna on the front page. I was so excited. She is so cute. She won a $25 gift certificate to Fred's Flowers. I thought that was pretty exciting. I didn't know they even had winners. So that was pretty neat.

Last night when I was giving Makenna her bath she decided she really loves the cup I have been using to rinse her hair with. She played with it forever. She would put it up to her mouth and "talk" into the cup. I think she loved to hear the noise echo into the cup. She knew she was making the noise. So anyway all day today she kept going into the bathroom and everytime I went in she had the cup. She passed right by the dog food too. I used to have to hide Chopper's food from her because she loves it. So I guess thecup is hers now. What isn't hers now! :) She has tons and tonz of new toys from Christmas and all she wants is that dang blue cup. So I washed it really good and now it is with all the rest of her toys!

Hello, we are the Jamison's! Ryan and I were married in August of 2004. We live in Providence and pretty much love it. We had our first baby in March. Her name is Makenna. She is so much fun. We don't know what we ever did without her. And we have a little chihuahua, Chopper. He is a stinker but we love him. Makenna and Chopper are good buddies.
